Hi to all,

Our latest container from the UK has arrived.

A good selection with some excellent Victorian burr-walnut pieces as well as desks, display cabinets, chest of drawers, consoles, dumbwaiters and lots of occasional furniture.

We have uploaded some images but there is plenty more to see so please drop by the shop.

Hope you had a good holiday – Louis’ Antiques was closed for the usual 3 weeks but we are all back reenthused and ready for a great 2014.

We unpacked a French container just before Christmas so there is a lot of new stock to view. The photos will be on the website soon!

Also please note that we are closed on Australia Day. Opening times for Monday 27 January will be 1pm to 5pm.

Hi to all,

I have recently returned from a buying trip to France with summer temperatures up to 34 degrees (yes, I’m talking Celcius), which was brilliant! Have a look at some of my new buys here.

As per usual I have returned home just in time to unpack another 40ft container from France. John and Jarrod have been working hard to get pieces ready for the showroom floor but as always you are welcome to have a look in our warehouse. See the pictures in the New Arrivals section on our website.

A Happy New Year to you all! I hope you had a nice break – we did but we’re back refreshed and ready for a big 2013.

Our showroom is back to normal opening times from Monday 14 January. 

Our new showroom renovations on the corner of Nanson and Grantham Sts are progressing well and we hope to have them completed by early March.

Dear Valued Client,

Just back from a successful buying trip to France – a little on the cool side but very happy with my buying.

The Chinese market seems to be slowing which makes buying a bit easier for me. Please take a look at a few pieces currently On The Water as well as our New Arrivals.

We will be open this weekend (22-23 December) during normal hours but will be closing on Monday 24 December at 12pm. We are then closed until 14 January.
